updates - daisy, pc and more

Daisy was adopted 2 weeks ago by a family with 2 young boys. they were at out home for nearly 2 hours and i have never seen daisy so exhausted. the boys age 8 and 12 really seemed to like her. wrote the fmaily a week later and jsut got a very short response saying that daisy was fitting in well with the family, nothing was said about the boys.

it looks like  on sunday I will be getting another foster dog. A female black lab mix named babe. she was given up because the fmaily had tow many dogs. well stupid people dont let them breed - babe has recently given birth ( just like daisy, lol). know nothing about her other than that. sunday when  i go to issaquah salmon days the plan is lynn will meet up there late in afternoon by the dock diving as that is about halfway between my home and lynns.

pc update -- pc came back today . was told nothing about what was fixed but based on the serial numbers jerry wrote down , it seems the memory was swapped out. that definitely could have been causing the porblems. well see how it goes for at least a week until i am  convinced it is fixed.

now have os many ct pages to do as so far behind. will do just one page per designer for now.

arthritis - it has been really bad , sometimes i wonder if  the plate or screw in wrist got loose or something like that as the surgery was supposed ot get rid of  pain and it did for a long while. with no insurance i can't see a doctor let alone a hand surgeon.

Jessica Art Design, star song studio and daisy

I have just joined the ct team of the talented template designer Jessica . As i am not the best in doing cluster I feel this will give me the opportunity to practice them more and hopefully they will get better over time. 

Star song studios allows her ct team to use older kits and you need to amke 2 pages from them. One of her older kits is called daisy days which I thought would be perfect to scrap daisy. 

So I combined these 2 ct obligations. I made two pages with the daisy days kit. One used a template and the other used wordart by jessica.

Daisy my new foster girl

on Friday I got a new foster dog.  her name is Daisy and she is a 2 -3 yer old yellow lab - pretty sure she is a mix as the ears are not quite labbie. I knew nothing about her except that she was just spayed and that her previous owner said she refused the advances of their unneutered male dog. I had 3    photos of her from the shelter. after looking at these photos, how could I say no when asked to foster her.

what I did no know was that it seemed like she had recently give birth . so my guess is that she had those puppies by another dog, not the previous owners dog  and the owner was not too happy about that. on the owner surrender form their were quite a few things that contradicted each other- like she was outside 24 hours a day yet she slept on the bed.
the shelter she was at did a very though evaluation of her and I don't doubt their findings but even after a day some of them were not true. just goes to show how different a dog can be in the shelter and  in a home.  One thing they said is she would not take a treat out of your hand - in less than an hour in my home she took treats from  us.  they also described her as not atypical lab. to me she is very typical-- ball obsessed. clingy and i have a feeling water obsessed too. make her much more of a typical lab than cooper.
