We're having a "Meet the Designers" blog roll for the Scrappin Naturally team. Some of us have made some Easter freebies that can be picked up at our individual blogs starting from the Scrappin Naturally Blog. 

This store has been around since around  October 2011. It was created by Barbara AKA ACowGirlsCreations. A designer herself, she wanted to make a home away from home for designers. So she created a place where she could support all her designers hard work.

There are currently 45 designers at Scrappin Naturally with room for five more. All our designers very talented and unique as you will see with the freebies we are offering. Each designer has their own design style.

 The store is a full service store and we carry so many products from commercial use to full size kits. We offer blinkie service, tagger kits, designer packs, poser templates and more. And there is always some kind of sale going on.

I had a lot of fun doing this kit. Last weekend, Clemens and I went to the arboretum and both of us fell in love with these rare blue HImilayan poppies. All the other photographers there did as well and there was a tangle of tripods and people in front of them the entire time we were there. But we got some great pictures and I couldn't wait to turn them into a kit. Blue Poppy has 12 papers and 35 elements.

Happy 7th Birthday Cooper

today Cooper is 7 - officially a senior

everything for his cake has been bought except the flour - went to two stores and neither had brown rice flour. also had problen getting carob chips but did get them. using same recipe as last year. for 2nd year in a row got cooper  some frozen pizza for his special dinner.

he will get a couple of toys but because of mandy he won''t be able to get what we wanted to get him. were thinking of getting him a session of swim therapy. there is a local swim spa but want to check it out first. cooper loved it when he won  a session twice and now that he has been limping more due to arthritis slowly setting in it will due him some good.

normally would not leave a new foster home along so long so soon after getting her but cooper will get to spend the day alone with us. mandy will get to have some of the cake.

here is birthday cake recipe

Peanut Butter Delight Dog Birthday Cake

1 cup flour ( I use brown rice flour as I want to avoid wheat as much as possible)
1tsp baking soda
1/4 cup peanut butter
1/4 cup vegetable oil
1 cup shredded carrots
1 tsp. vanilla
1/3 cup honey
1 egg

Mix flour and baking soda. Add remaining ingredients. Pour into greased 8" round cake pan and bake at 350° for 30 minutes

Banana Cream Cheese Frosting

1 Ripe Banana
6 ounces non-fat cream cheese
1/2 tsp vanilla

Mash the banana with a potato masher in a bowl. In another bowl incorporate the vanilla with the cream cheese. Fold in the banana with the cream

cheese mixture. Refrigerate until ready to use.

Sprinkle with carob chips and enjoy!

When Cooper is not spreading his Irish charm as a Leprechaun, he is a Yellow Labrador Retriever.

Cooper’s favorite things are: food (of course), car rides, going anyplace where he can meet people, Marymoor dog park, street fairs, dressing up, sniffing new smells, and he loves his over-sized comfy crate – with removed door.

His dislikes are: cats, getting shots in his nose, and the blow dryer.

What his people have to say about him: Cooper if a wonderful sweet dog who has a great smile. He is very laid-back and very tolerant of almost everything. Cooper will be your best friend for the smallest piece of food. We also love his goofy personality, he still has a puppy brain in an adult body (he turns 7 tomorrow). He loves all people and other dogs, and they all love him back. We are always amazed when we meet someone who met him a year ago and still remembers him.

Congratulations to Cooper and have a Happy St. Patrick’s Day!
